Do you remember when you first started your business?
Now, be honest. Did you try to start up your business without any external support?
Perhaps you tried to build the website yourself or even dabble in a bit of Facebook advertising. Or maybe you spent hours and hours watching tutorials trying to master email marketing or developing a funnel.
It took me a long time to understand what a narcissist was. I wondered if I really had ever met one!
Then I owned my own businesses. Interestingly this space brings in all kinds of people and personalities and nearly on all occasions people were great. They came to work, joined in as active team player, cared for the clients amazingly and went home.
Then there is the but….which I share with you in my blog article
Perhaps it’s someone who inspires others, is an excellent communicator or has good decision-making skills.
Or it could be someone who can delegate roles and empower others while remaining committed and passionate about their vision.
Now is the best time to take a moment to think about your life.
Your trials and tribulations.
The highs, the lows.
Now, what have you learned?
Did you kick the goals you needed this year to get a win or is there still work to do?
If you didn’t, what do you need know, what do you need to do?
It’s very important to be clear of all of these things and more. It’s not enough to just get your accountant saying ‘sorry but no profit’ yet still you have to pay tax. Even if this year wasn’t the greatest for your business, the end of the financial year is a great time to reassess your goals and set out your stepping stones for a better year.
We have heard it before but are you actually actioning it?
– cheerfully unconcerned about the future.
Are you often referred to as the “happy-go-lucky” type? You know, the kind of person who is always carefree, relaxed and always in the right place at the right time. Or perhaps being happy-go-lucky is a choice you’ve made, a mindset or attitude shift which helps you to get through the tough times.
What does being HAPPY-GO-LUCKY mean to you?
You can do anything but you cannot be everything
Gary Vaynerchuk (love him hate him) recently talked about When you should be HIRING Someone!
If you can afford to invest in a new hire, it’s almost always a good strategy because it allows you to go harder on your strengths.
Understand the needs of your business and what you will need to do to get the EOFY started.
Delegate the remaining tasks out to keep the wheels of your business running smoothly.
Who and where you delegate your EOFY tasks is incredibly important to ensure a smooth transition into the new financial year.
Calling all business owners…guess what is almost on our doorstep?
The end of the financial year!
How does that make you feel?
Panicked, stressed, scared, overwhelmed… or are you someone that cruises through this period with ease?
Do you delegate everything out or are you an avoider who sticks their head in the sand like an ostrich? Or do you prefer a hands-on approach with your finances?
Thoughts, disappointments, the past stories we tell ourselves and hang onto are often allowed to consume and define us. We often turn to friends or family to vent about our issues, only to be met with “Oh just let it go!”.
While they may be trying to help, how do you really feel when you tell someone about something that’s bothering you, and their response is ‘Just Let it go’?
